Q: What is included in the registration cost?
A:  Registration includes the following: Welcome Reception, Seafood Bash, Sunday Gospel Supper, 75 th Anniversary Gala, Transportation, Commemorative Polo shirt, Welcome Gift Bag and Souvenir Journal

Q:  If an individual is unable to participate in all the events, can they choose individual events to attend?
A:  An individual can purchase tickets for two (2) events at the maximum. However, if you would like to purchase multiple tickets to 1 or 2 events for you and a group of friends you may do so.  For example, you can purchase 10 tickets for the 75 th Anniversary Gala (a singular event), which would equal a reserved table, as each table can accommodate 10 guests.

Q: Can I purchase a Souvenir Journal separate from registration?
A: A copy of the Souvenir Journal will be available for purchase at a nominal cost. The exact cost is unavailable currently.

Q:  If an individual did not pay for full register, but would like transportation to the Seafood Bash or Sunday Gospel Supper, can they be included on the
transportation?
A:  Yes, transportation can be purchased at $20.00/round-trip. Transportation must be purchased prior to the celebration to aid in proper planning. Please note a round-trip is to and from the host hotel. There are currently two (2) identified destinations where transportation will be provided (the Seafood Bash and the Worship Service/Sunday Gospel Supper); thus, the total cost of transportation if used to travel to both these events would be $40.00.

Q:  If an individual did not register are they able to purchase a Commemorative Polo shirt?
A:  Commemorative Polo shirts can be purchased for $25.00 regardless of the size. 

Q:  What are the payment methods?

Q: If I submit my payment via mail, will I receive a receipt or payment confirmation?
A: If you have paid by check, you can review your bank account to ascertain whether your check has cleared your account. If you have paid by money order, and need payment confirmation, please feel free to call (202) 670-8629 or email info@charlestonscclub.org for further assistance.

Q:  Where is the host hotel?
A:  The host hotel is the Embassy Suites by Hilton Charleston Airport Convention Center located at 5055 International Drive North Charleston, SC.  

Q: What events will be held at the host hotel?
A:  The Welcome Reception and 75 th Anniversary Gala will be held at the host hotel which is connected to the North Charleston Convention Center.

Q:  Where will the Seafood Bash be held?
A:  James Island County Park in the Edisto Pavilion.

Q:  Where will the Sunday Gospel Supper held?
A:  Royal Missionary Baptist Church Conference Center located at 4750 Abraham Street North Charleston, SC  29405

Q:  Why is the Gullah Tour a separate fee and not included in the registration?
A:  The Gullah Tour is not a negotiated price and is an optional activity.  Thus, if you elect to go on the Gullah Tour, the Club will purchase your tickets as a group reservation based on the number of individuals who have opted to participate.

Q:  With the delay in opening of the International African American Museum (IAAM), will the tour continue to be on the events schedule?
A: No specifics have been provided regarding the planned opening of the Museum, and the price of the group rate has not been identified; thus, our apologies as this optional event may be removed from the schedule.
